DESCRIPTION: Very poetic-a pocket pipe with a pockenholz shank extension. Pockenholz is also known as lignum vitae, an amazingly durable hardwood that has found application in such diverse objects as cricket balls and police truncheons. It’s also the wood that John Harrison used to make many of his clocks, including the turret clock at Brocklesby Park, North Lincolnshire, built in ca. 1720, and still running today. Since Martin and Anders build their pipes with similar precision, this one should be smoking wonderfully well into 24th Century. Oh, and that shank extension is surrounded by a comfortable saddle mouthpiece and a rakish apple bowl sporting a lovely, well detailed blast. Very nice.

How To Buy?

You'll see I don't have links to PayPal to buy a pipe or accessories on my site, I don't like the idea of hitting a button and buying a pipe. Call me old fashioned but I want to know who's buying a pipe from me. Here is How to Buy »
