You might think that the Latvian artisan Sergey Senatorov was a relative newcomer to pipe making, but you would be dead wrong. He actually made his first pipe in 1992. To be fair, he was only 10 years old at the time, the pipe was made from pine, and the only tools he had at his disposable were some sandpaper and a file. It would be another 14 years before Sergey seriously pursued the noble craft of transforming briar into smokeable art. Since then he has slowly built a loyal following, mostly through direct sales of his work on internet pipe forums and his own website. Those willing to give Senatorov pipes a try were delighted by the quality of his craftsmanship, not to mention his wickedly good sandblasting. Sergey has steadily improved at his trade and now he has become quite the force to be reckoned with. He hails from Riga, the capitol of Latvia and the largest city in the Baltic states. Every Senatorov pipe is made from Mediterranean briar, with mouthpieces crafted from the highest quality German ebonite. Occasionally adornments of ivory, exotic woods, and horn are used. As with any rising star, now is the time to acquire his work, as prices are extremely reasonable. We are pleased to be able to offer Sergey's pipes to our discerning clientele.

You'll see I don't have links to PayPal to buy a pipe or accessories on my site, I don't like the idea of hitting a button and buying a pipe. Call me old fashioned but I want to know who's buying a pipe from me. Here is How to Buy »
