Of all the artisans who work in the Chubby aesthetic, Ailarov just might be my favorite. His pipes often present a voluptuous form that does not sacrifice clean lines, pleasing proportions, and perfect balance. Such is the case with the Apple/Pot in front of you now. The shape is just lovely. Furthermore, everything about this pipe screams comfort - the plump bowl, the shallow blast, the beautifully made taper stem. It is begging to be picked up and smoked! The shank is expertly capped with an exquisite piece of Mazur Birch, one of the most beautiful wooden adornments, which serves as a nice visual counterpoint to the Jet Black sandblasted finish and ebonite stem. This pipe is a winner, as is the lucky customer who purchases it. I am already jealous.
