Larry Faulkner Twenty years of experience as a US Navy aircraft mechanic and flight engineer have impressed upon me an appreciation for precision and a respect for the use of superior materials. I am grateful to have found an opportunity to blend my passion for pipes, tampers and other fine collectibles with my talents as a craftsman with an eye for balance and artistic detail.
Over several years of experimentation, I have developed an exceptional line of products that are both highly functional and resilient as well as aesthetically beautiful. All of my products are handmade and intended for years of use. I utilize a vast array of materials in crafting my products, including synthetic stone (also known as "True Stone"), exotic woods, briar, cumberland, bamboo and acrylics. Of course, because all of my products are handmade, no two are ever alike.
At the encouragement of my friend Alex Florov, I began crafting pipes a few years ago. I’ve been working on my technique and now feel that I have a product ready to be shared with the pipe collecting community. The stems are all hand-cut ebonite, and I use primarily Italian and Grecian briar.
