By taking the compression of this strapping bowl along the horizontal axis, the front and back panels are more flattened, lending a great 'paw appeal'. A briar of 'Hercules, writ small' proportions calls for a like-minded bit, and John creates a dandy. Yes, the visual pairing is in perfect complement, but the actual business end of the bit is thin and comfortable. If you are anything like me, while you may delight in bowls that will take well to a fine Virginia flake, but are less than happy with a pipe design that makes you feel like you should be touting Lucky Charms, this just might be the pipe for you. To quote Leonard Elmore; 'Get Shorty!', I am quite sure that you will be glad that you did.
