DESCRIPTION: A very nice architectural take on the Volcano, reminiscent of Peter Matzhold’s work with the shape. Though, since Eric Andersen began his pipemaking career nearly two decades before Peter, maybe it is the other way around.  The combination of smooth burgundy, black sandblast, and polished ivory on this piece is stellar and the detailed ring grain blast is sublime. Once again we have a comfortable, light weight pipe that should prove to be an outstanding smoker.
